Career Counselling & Placement Cell

At RCU Government Post Graduate College, Uttarkashi, we help each student to become self dependent and to explore bright future opportunities by continuous career counselling program. The Career Counselling & Placement Cell provides the infra-structural facilities and logistics to conduct group discussions and mock interviews for preparing students for the competitive examination as well as also arranges time to time invited lectures by subject experts, entrepreneurs and other successful personalities to motivate the students. Students are encouraged to interact with faculty members to seek guidance for career in academia, corporate sectors and R&D sector. Placement cell also remains available to cater the students for such needs.

Right from the entry level at various programs running at college, students are made aware of possible career options and continuously counselled with regard to their career aspirations. Students are also sent to attend the seminars and conferences as well as on faculty-guided field tours. Such practices not only allow students to get acquainted to the real world challenges and available opportunities but also have been proven fruitful in terms of boosting the aspiration for better career, confidence level and communication skills of students.
