Rovers & Rangers
The college unit of Rovers & Rangers under the Bharat Scouts & Guides, New Delhi
was established in 1985. Since then two units are working. Rovers unit has 24
Rovers, similarly Rangers unit also has 24 Rangers. Total 48 Rovers & Rangers
are there in the College unit. This unit performs many activities throughout the
year like Samagam, Nipun Prashikshan, River Rafting and Cleanliness expeditions
etc. Some Rovers & Rangers have got President’s Award. In the year 2008-09, Mr.
Indramani Chamoli (M.A. II, Hindi), Mr. Rajendra Singh (M.A. I, Hindi), and Km.
Ganga Dogra (B.A. III); and in year 2010-11 Km. Manisha Rana (M.A. II, Hindi),
Km. Divya Somdevi (M.A. I, English), and Mr. Sheshpal Singh (M.A. II, Hindi)
have been bestowed with Presidents award. The Unit of college is regularly under
progress.

Three days camp 26-28 december 2017

Three days basic training camp of Rovers & Rangers was organized by College unit
during 26th December to 28th December 2017. During this camp Rovers & Rangers
were trained for Scouts & Guides, Oath, Rules & Regulation, Flag Hoisting, First
Aid, Cleanliness, Social and National Duties by Master trainers. Rangers leader
Dr. Kiran Tripathi and Rovers leader Dr. TR Prajapati also gave directions for
their future. |
