The Library
The Library of the Institute is fully equipped with meticulously chosen large
number of Indian and Foreign text-books and reference-books to provide the pupil
teachers with in-depth and thorough knowledge and strong intellectual support to
help them in their studies. The library also has many national and international
educational resources, documentation section and newspaper clippings. The
Institute is committed to make its library a knowledge hub. It is constantly
being upgraded and enriched. The students are provided with the facility of a
book bank through which they can borrow the required text book for the session.
The library has an open access system to all its members.

Labs
|

Institute has fully equipped labs in demands of different curricular areas and
other teaching learning resources. The college has a clear cut policy for the
enrichment and modernization of resource centers.

ICT or Educational Technology Resource Centre for Programmes
|
Information and Communication Technology deals with the usage of tools and
techniques to enhance the effectiveness of teaching learning process. ICT Lab is
well equipped with multimedia development machines, software and devices to use
in classroom setting for teaching.

Science & Mathematics Lab
|

|
Lab Science and Mathematics are not mere disciplines of study but also a way of
life. Science & Mathematics education at school level has to focus not only on
development of understanding and skills but also on the development of
scientific temper among learners. The lab is well equipped with sufficient
apparatus, charts, models, teaching aids and other material for conducting
numbers of experiment activities and demonstrations of physics, chemistry,
biology and mathematics at secondary level.

Art & Craft Resource Centre

ACTIVITIES
|
|
The Institute believes in all round development of its pupil teachers. In order to
encourage and promote the fullest development of the students, all the pupil
teachers are categorized into various groups to conduct the various activities
in the Institute viz. Literary, Educational, Sports and Cultural, during the
course of their training session as per the schedule.

Rules & Regulation
|
|
• The pupil teachers will attend all classes of theory & practical, complete his
project/assignment, appear for test and participate in the activities conducted
by the institute. He / she may be detained from appearing in the exam on the
ground of short attendance. The minimum attendance needed for appearing in the
examination is 80%.
• The pupil teacher will refrain from getting involved or organizing any
unconstitutional activity within or outside the premises of Institute during his
stay.
• The pupil teacher will not damage any property of the institute otherwise
recovery of the damaged items will have to be made and strict disciplinary
action shall be taken.
• The pupil teacher will abide by the rules and regulations of the library
regarding issue/return of the books.
• The pupil teacher shall present herself/himself regularly during practice of
teaching. No leaves are allowed during this period.
• The identity card shall be returned at the time of receiving transfer and
character certificate.
• The pupil teacher can be expelled or suspended or fined on the breach of any
code of discipline as per the decision of the proctorial board.
• In case of any controversy all claims shell be settled within the jurisdiction
of district Uttarkashi.
